Steven M. Smith - Director of Development
Steven has specialized real estate experience with an emphasis in development, complex acquisitions, and the strategic repositioning of value-add properties. His experience has included operating on a national development platform conducting such transactions as big-box development, mall re-development, portfolio acquisitions, land acquisitions, sale-leasebacks, strategic planning, and valuation.

With an emphasis on retail, mixed-use and healthcare, Steven has advised partners, property owners, and tenants in development, joint venture, and merger & acquisition, and sale transactions totaling over 1 million square feet, including transactions published in recognized national periodicals such as Wall Street Journal. His relationships include many national tenants such as Target, Home Depot, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Baja Fresh, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Chico’s, Lowe’s, Dillard’s, JC Penney, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gap, and Yahoo!. Prior to joining Quorum Equities, Steven gained significant experience in the areas of opportunistic real estate investments and management & marketing consulting for Fortune 500 companies.

Steven holds a BBA in Finance & International Business from Baylor University and actively serves in many industry organizations.
